To advance in rank you must have a position battle with the current rank holder. the first step is send a pm to the opponent and allow 48 hours before starting the topic. If you lose the position battle, the opponent has the right to demote you, so be careful who you decide to fight. If the opponent loses, you gain his/her position and they gain your previous position. The only other way to advance in rank is to do so in RP and this can happen any number of ways.
